“Same Love” - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ft/ Mary Lambert
About a month ago I was shuffling through one of the many Spotify playlists and came across this hip-hop track from the Seattle duo. After just one listen, I was hooked and couldn’t stop listening. The simple, yet serious rhymes, mixed with Lambert’s voice on the chorus immediately made it one of my favorite hip-hop songs of the year. The tune, which focuses on the timely subject of marriage and sexual equality, now has an ever appropriate video to go with it.
